Like all our self catering visitors, our most recent guests at Annie's Place have given us a 5 star rating for all aspects of our accommodation and its location. They also wrote in their tips for future guests, that our holiday apartment on Birsay Bay is great for getting to all parts of Orkney. Even for an off-season break they found plenty to see and do, and were delighted to return to the warmth and comfort of Annie's Place after either an exhilarating coastal walk or a drive further afield to visit all corners of the mainland.

Orkney's renowned World Heritage sites were no more than a gentle 20 minute drive away through lovely countryside with views to sea shore, lochs, hills of Hoy and peaceful farmland. Covid19 and the safety restrictions  imposed for everyone's health and well being did mean that not all of the four sites nor the Ness of Brodgar were open for viewing. However, they much enjoyed Skara Brae, Ring of Brodgar and Stones of Stenness and intend to return at a future date when Maes Howe, Ness of Brodgar and other sites of historic or scientific interest across orkney are open again.
