Annie's Place is in the centre of Palace Village, Birsay. We are adjacent to the village shop which is extremely handy not only for groceries, but also for hot or cold drinks, ice creams and hot cooked lunches and home baking. Fancy morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea, then The Birsay Bay Tearoom is just a stroll up the road.

You can walk for miles along the coastline straight from the door, or relax on our shoreline bench watching the seals and birdlife on the shore as well as glorious changing skies and seascapes.

Their local knowledge and willingness to share it meant we got to see the Arctic Terns the one day after they arrived which was the day before we sadly had to leave. Birsay is a spectacular place to stay, the views, the seabirds, the seascape. Annie's Place is a welcoming and comfortable place to stay. The neolithic sites are amazing and not far away.
