Annies Place garden July 2017

Following our successful openings of Annie's Place garden in June as part of the Orkney Garden Trail, we "popped up" our garden on three occasions to show off its July and August blooms.  We were delighted by the number of passers-by who popped in and generously left donations for our chosen charity Music in Hospitals Scotland. As the logo of that charity includes the phrase "communicating through live music", Robin delighted our visitors by serenading them with an on-the-spot fiddle tune, chosen to reflect some aspect of their joy at seeing our colourful seaside garden.

Photos are included here, but we plan also to post a short video of one of Robin's communication through live music, which brings to life the ethos and effects of Music in Hospitals for people in care.
