Many of our self catering holiday guests share their Orkney photos on FaceBook, Instagram and other social media. Such photos include their walk from Annie's Place to the Whalebone. We regularly walk there ourselves, going northwards on the St Magnus Way, but rather than crossing over to the Brough of Birsay at the Point of Buckquoy, we follow the signpost "Skipa Geo Footpath".
